In 1991,
he left the live band scene and formed "You Are the Star", a
full-service Disc Jockey and Karaoke Company. In the
mid-90s, Tad owned five separate music systems, operated by 9
Disc Jockeys, who performed up to 20 shows a week.
Currently, he specializes in Children's entertaining, which now
comprises most of the business.
2011 looks to be a BANNER year for "You Are the Star"!
The word on "Mr DJ's Hollywood Quiz Show" is nothing
shorter than UNBELIEVABLE! A totally unique and "Hi Tech" form
of entertainment AND education, suitable for schools, libraries,
day cares, Bridal Showers, Assisted Living Centers, Team
Building, Bar Mitzvahs, etc. This party concept is rarely seen
in the Boston area!
Since its inception, Mr DJ
has performed at over 5,000 engagements! Without a
doubt, Tad Travis has created a very entertaining formula that
has proven to be successful and in demand! An exceptional
